We are a group active mature men from cities in and around Silicon Valley. Many of us spent our careers at technology companies and others had careers in medicine, finance, retail, and service industries.
We enjoy socializing with old friends and making new ones. The whole point of SIR is to enrich the lives of our members and provide opportunities to have a good time doing things you enjoy, whether that be playing chess, hiking, playing golf, watching movies or what have you.
Our branch has about 300 members, and we are the largest SIR branch in Santa Clara County and one of the largest in the state. Our size enables us to offer a wide variety of activities for our members’ enjoyment. Our branch has been active since 1971.
