The Wine Finders are Branch 35 members who enjoy tasting and learning about wines from around the world. We meet in different local restaurants and enjoy wines from various regions of the world, along with appetizers paired to those wines. Not only are the wine varieties interesting, but there is also a chance to learn about the regions from which they come. Our attendees are SIR members as well as their spouses or significant others.
A typical Wine Finder get-together consists of a generous sampling of three wines, usually one white and two reds, along with some background information about each wine. Once the tasting is over, the majority of the participants stay for dinner and enjoy some real SIR camaraderie.
