To submit a membership application, click here: <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.sirinc2.org\/branch171\/join-our-branch\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">Join our branch<\/span><\/a><\/strong><\/span>.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: large; color: #000000;\">The main purpose of SIR is to provide opportunities to make new friends and to participate in activities we were too busy to enjoy prior to retirement.&nbsp; Having fun and promoting fellowship are our only goals.&nbsp; We are not engaged in fundraising.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: large; color: #000000;\">Membership in Branch 171 is open to men retired or semi-retired from full-time occupation, regardless of age, race, color or religion.&nbsp; Member volunteers staff, administer and govern all Branch activities.&nbsp; SIR supports no outside cause or interest. The only requirements to join SIR are that a man (1) be retired, or semi-retired, (2) participate in one or more activities and attend the monthly luncheons, and (3) be sponsored by a current member.
